University and School Programs - Full or Half Day ProgramsEDWA guidelines being met

Outdoor Discoveries runs university and school programs specialising in outdoor education in Western Australia.  While we run one and two day programs which are mostly recreational, we aim to teach solid technical skills as part of all programs.

Our expertise is in providing small to medium size groups with high quality outdoor skills.  We run many outdoor education programs for large groups, however, we specialise in teaching advanced skills to smaller groups of students.  These skills include advanced technical skills, leadership, teamwork, camp craft and expedition skills.

Students are responsible looking after each other under supervision. One Day Programs

Abseiling, rock climbing and caving are our most popular university and school programs.  These programs suit students who are Year Eight or older.  For further information on these programs check the following links: Abseiling and/or Rock Climbing and Abseiling and/or Caving.  We meet or exceed the Education Department of Western Australia Guidelines for Abseiling and Rockclimbing.  Price varies considerably with group size so please callAbseil with all the safety systems in place. for a specific quote.

For younger students we prefer to run different activities.  Some examples are flat water canoeing, walk-in caving and guided interpretive bushwalks.  We meet or exceed recommended instructor:student ratios on all our outdoor programs.  For further information on canoeing please check the Canoeing or the walk-in caving section under the Adventure Caving link.

Please note we do not recommend any ocean swimming activities in the Margaret River region.  There are large swells and strong rips on most beaches.
