Canoeing Guide - White Water
As of February 2009 Outdoor Discoveries has been accepted as a National Training Provider (NTP) with (AC) Australian Canoeing.
We will be running a pilot White Water Canoeing Guide Course in 2010 - there will be a three day training only program in early July with assessment taking place in late August 2010. You must be a Flat Water Canoeing Guide to enrol - there will be a skills recognition day in early July for those who are competent but not registered.
Course Structure
You will be trained and assessed to meet the requirements of a Canoeing Guide - White Water with Australian Canoeing. You will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units that you are found competent in. These units together with a current first aid qualification and a logbook of recent guiding experience will allow registration with Australian Canoeing for the award.

- 4th to 6th July 2010 - 3 Day White Water Canoeing Guide Course - Training Only - Dwellingup
Cut off date for enrolment: Friday 18th June 2010 (You must already be at least a Flat Water Canoeing Guide to enrol. If not current then we will run a skills recognition day on the 3rd of July)
Cost $550.00 - 28th to 29th August 2010 - 2 Day White Water Canoeing Guide Course - Assessment Only (You must have completed the training on the 4th to the 6th of July or have prior skills and knowledge)
